Q: When will my order ship?
A: Since our candles are hand-poured in small batches and we work full time through the week, we ship orders only on weekends (Friday-Sunday). You'll get a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order is on the move!
Q: Do you offer local pickup?
A: Not at the moment, no. However, checking our socials and subscribing to our emails will help keep you up-to-date with any farmers markets or local pop-ups we may be making appearances at!
Q: What are your candles made of?
A: We use clean-burning, non-toxic, American produced soy and beeswax, paired with premium fragrance oils and a mix of cotton and wood wicks. No paraffin, no harsh vibes - just cozy, clean burns.
Q: How long do your candles burn?
A: Our 8oz candles burn for about 40-50 hours, our 7oz jars give you 35-45 hours, and our 4oz tins can range around 25-35 hours of dreamy glow time! (Just remember to trim your wick!)
Q: Can I reuse the jar or tin?
A: Absolutely! Just clean out the leftover wax and give it a good wash with warm soapy water. They're perfect for storing tiny things, holding plant propagations, or just a little decor!
Q: Do you offer returns or exchanges?
A: We do not at this time. If anything arrives damaged or just not quite right, shoot us a message at wickdflamecandles@gmail.com and we'll do our best to make it right!
Q: Do you take custom orders?
A: Not yet, but we love hearing your ideas! As of right now, we do have over 30 fragrance and essential oils, and a wide color selection, so if you have anything in mind, definitely reach out to us, and we may be able to whip up a batch of something special!
Q: How do I care for my candle?
A: We do include a "Candle Care 101: Burn Baby Burn (Safely)" sheet in every order, but since you're here, let's go over it together!
1. Trim your wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn (your order will come pre-trimmed and ready to go for your first spark!). It helps your candle burn cleaner, last longer, and keeps those funky mushroom tops away.
2. Let it pool. Give your candle enough time to melt all the way to the edges on the first burn - usually 2-3 hours. It helps prevent tunneling and gives you maximum cozy vibes every time.
3. Don't overdo it. As much as we love a day-long burnathon, keep it to about 3-4 hours at a time. Your candle (and your nose) need a little break sometimes!
4. Keep it safe. Always burn your candle on a flat, heat-safe surface, away from drafts, flammable things, and curious pets and kiddos. Never leave a candle burning unattended.
5. Reuse, repurpose, re-love. Once your candle's all burned out, clean out the jar or tin and give it a new life. Plant pot, pen cup, q-tip holder - the possibilities are endless!
